I am feeling SO anxious. I have a situation. As you know, I recently lost the THIRD job in the past 11 months. I also received the results of my neuropsych testing and it showed that I have a significant learning disability.
I am still pursuing a disability claim due to my medical issues, bipolar, and now the learning disability. I have a phone interview with SS on May 5th. I have also provided SS with a report of the testing results. But, to go further with the disability claim, I can't exceed a certain amount gross per month. To do that means I may not be able to stay in my apartment. I am so anxious I can't think straight.
And then my sister starts up on me about how I should leave the town that I live in because it is so expensive. She is right. I prob should get out of here. But I am afraid. To the point where I am having an extremely hard time functioning. I am paralyzed by fear. I don't even know where I would begin. What do I do and where do I start?? I wish I could just die. It would solve ALOT.

You may recall I write that my sister and he husband were in an affair with my brothers wife. It's been almost a year. Mom last week asked me to invite my sisters boys to a birthday at my house for my brothers daughter. I was on my way to pick up the boys when my mom called and told me to turn around. Apparently my brother didn't know my nephews were coming and he was livid. I came home to a...

However planning for a time where you can live on less money is going to be very important.
It may involve putting your things in storage and lightening your load until you find a place to live.
It's hard to do but you will need to come up with a plan A, B and C until disability comes through and it could take a while for that to happen....
The issue is how are you going to keep your head above water until disability comes about. It will take some planning on your part....
I went from working full-time, and being able to buy anything I pleased, to living a very conservative lifestyle spending-wise. I guess the good part about it, is, I no longer buy a lot of stuff which I don't need.
I hope that you'll get approved for disability, and find a place which you can stay long-term. It must have been very challenging to lose your third job (I've lost jobs too, as a result of my health condition), and to be diagnosed with a learning disability as well. It must have come as a shock.
I hope that you'll pull through. I went through a similar phase, and everything seems to be in an okay spot right now. It will just take a bit of time and patience. Best.
As for disability, i just can't believe they haven't awarded you SSDI. I truly hope your interview goes well - and YES good that you sent them the results of your exam AND good that they already know of your mental health issues. I so hope it goes smoothly and you are awarded what you deserve so desperately.
You've tried so hard over the last year, TC. I really hope things turn.
MayB is right -- you'll need to come up with a new plan now that life is changing and maybe a move is in order.
Good luck with your interview! ((((Hugs))))
