This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I find that when I forgive it is a gift to me.... It's great that you're working on this sweetie... I am so sorry that you've been so badly hurt..... Big hug.... xo
Many think it's about forgiving the person who wronged you, which it is not, it really has little to do with them.
Forgiveness is for you, so that you can work through the pain, trauma, anger, etc. from the past of what this person has done to you, process it, and then Let It Go! Release yourself from any feelings of anger or hurt that they invoke in you. They don't need to have any more power over you, you've given them way to much already. So when you forgive someone, your letting yourself let go of the hurt and wrong they've done you.
This is always a good thing to do and it may take a while, it's not always easy, but you'll find when you accomplish it that you do feel freer, less burdened by the anger and guilt they caused you and emotionally lighter and happier. Its definitely worth the work. I'm proud of you for tackling this!
Take care,
kat
