Just got my new script for my new meds, (seems like I say that a bit to often). I was prescribed 25 milagram lamictal and was said to increase to 50 mil in two weeks and drop the abilify after one week. I also got my clonopin doubled and my adderall changed up for my ADHD. So, my question is What are some of the sideeffects one feels when first taking lamictal. Like, I know the by the book symptoms but what does one feel when they first begin taking it?
Thanks again everyone

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. It's been some time since my last post...sorry. I've been going through a challenging time with the sale of my home, purchase of a condo and my adult asperger son that lives with me. I've had days where I couldn't get out of bed, days where I stayed in my pj's and days where all I managed to do was eat, drink fluids and take care of my Sweet Mia kitty. Sweet Mia came to me from a shelter about...

Everything went away except the light sensitivity.
I also started on 25 mg of Lamictal recently -- and am due to increase to 50 mg this coming Monday. I had persistent nausea and a wicked headache on days 3 to 7, when first taking it... I've been alright since then & haven't really noticed anything yet, mood-wise, or other-wise. Haven't noticed anything like sensitivity to light, either. I'm hoping that I'll feel some relief sooner rather than later! Extreme irritability is still a major issue, as are some pretty intense mood swings - and the ever-present tearfulness. I'm a little apprehensive about the upcoming increase in dose --- but know that if I do experience the nausea & headache again, it'll probably be short-lived.
I just want to feel better already!!
As far as natural, well, that's just not a happening thing,,,,as for Diet, Oh Ya!! can make a Huge Difference with BP. Keeping Hydrated, drinking half your weight in water is Huge! For body and "Mind Functioning". Have fun :)
