Hey Heretic and Dancing, I'm a bit past you guys, but hoping I'm on the upswing. Man, I couldn't help tearing up in a meeting at work last week. I said I was having allergy problems and took off. If my head doesn't turn around soon I could be in real trouble.

I've been in a mixed episode for the past five weeks and have been sleepless in these past five weeks, and have never felt worse. My meds are not helping at all though. So I understand perfectly how you feel. I may also be suffering, but the important thing is we have each other. I may be unstable to offer you advice, but I can offer you support. One thing I've learned about this illness is that it comes and goes, then it comes and goes. We've gotta learn to brace ourselves when the moment comes. Hang on in there, and it will pass. Love to you.

razz > the last sentance of your post says it all. it does come and go and i know if i believed that in my heart it would make the constant transitions easier ,but i dont..everytime it hits or i feel the depression or mania taking root i lose all sensibility.and fall in head first. just know we who also suffer feel your pain and are with you all the way.one minute at a time (((HUGS))))

Hang in the hereticthose situational things can drag you into a depression only if you give them the power. Be strong, take one thing at a a time we are all here with you................

Up and Down like a yo yo too. just hanging on myself seing dr on friday so hopefully she can push my pdoc quicker.

I'm also feeling under the weather and hope it' s not a crash coming on

I hope you get to feeling better soon. I am here for you. It isn't easy having bipolar. But then again it's not easy having any disease. But this one's particularly nasty because it's "invisible" We look perfectly healthy to most people. My friends at work can tell when I am having an "off" day and are very supportive. I trust all of my friends here too. And I have more friends here than I do in RL. So, when I;m down I come here for support and advice. Just remember this will pass and it does get better.

I can relate I've been having a depressed and uncomfortable feeling in my head that was growing in intensity for the past three years, but it is beginning to subside and underneath it I feel hope and positive possibilities beginning to emerge. It started to change when I did some volunteer work. So there may be some truth to the move a musel change a thought theory. Try a happy activity. You might want to see the documentary "Happy" (it's about the things that make people happy.) I don't know if it's in your area but it sounds like it's worth seeing. I hope this helped you.
