Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Do you know what your cues and triggers are? What you are describing is similar to what I start to experience just before my mood switches to depression. When the cue is recognized soon enough, sometimes we can prevent the mood change or keep it from becoming too extreme. I don't know if this is definitely what you are experiencing. Only you and your Pdoc or Tdoc could figure that out. It's just a thought.
maybe a change of scenery or a walk on a nice beach might make you feel better. i also get very antsy when i have nothing up, so i understand.
too much idle time to think about bad stuff......bad thing for me. i have to keep busy all the time. i hope you can find something exciting or fun or enjoyable to do to get your mind out of the funk.
Yes, sometimes we do a Total 180, so to speak, when our moods are changing, so it's a good idea to watch for a swing.
And I've been learning about what happens to Me, personally, because I am both bipolar and empathic - I've learned "some" of the weird thoughts and feelings I get, that come out of nowhere, are me channeling the thoughts and feelings of Others.
Like the other day, I was sitting on the porch enjoying the weather and my neighbor came home from work; she got out of the car and Immediately I envisioned a nice, juicy steak. I mean, I could Taste it. ....and I'm thinking, really? Cause I'm now a vegetarian and haven't had a steak in 3 years!!
But I realized she was Thinking about a steak when her husband came out and they left "to go out to dinner" - I had received Her thought of the steak, not mine. I just wonder if someone you Know, or were near to, was considering joining a monastery.
Could be Anything; you never know. Watch yourself, marky :/
Peace, Mark
read about the law of attraction. shoot, I didn't but many did and swear by it. when I am ready to take on more in my life, maybe I will. otherwise can't say much else but that you give off a vibe when you feel great (sometimes even if you are faking). you also give of a vibe if you feel less than yourself.

Sounds like you have ESP. I have read that peoples thoughts take form as waves. You can recieve them if you are tuned in. right now I can't say I have ESP but once, when I did a vegan detox diet for a week, I answered a string of random questions correctly. Well, really just three. I was working at a camp and we had this Olympic day event. The teams were the Athenians and the Spartans. So the MC says, how many years has our director Peter been here? The number 27 popped into my head. I felt like i might be right and I was. Then he asked something like how many staff members have graduated from UMD? I was right again. Then another question like that came up (in a row) and I was right a third time.
It helps so much to know because then you don't have to buy into the thoughts...and you can let a thought be just a thought and let it roll on by on the train of thoughts. I always remember where my feet are and how hard the floor feels or my chair feels to help bring me back down to reality. I sometimes stand outside and feel the hard ground and get deep breathes of fresh air. It really really helps. Sometimes if I still feel shaken I take a Klonopin as a final treatment.
Hope you feel better soon. :)
thanks mayismerry, well said! thanks!
