Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Hey everybody,
I've been making sure I get up in the morning, making sure I eat everyday, and taking care of work and things I need to do. That said, my depression has been pretty fierce on and off. I've grown to be good at keeping the suicidal ideation in check, but I just feel like I want to get sucked up in a hole and die. I can't tell if my stability has gotten worse or not; a few months I had to go off Rexulti, because I couldn't afford it and my insurance wasn't covering it. I'm still on Lamictal and Pristiq, but I can't tell if I'm being rational or not, you know?
Anyway, my mood swings and depression killed a nearly five year relationship recently and I blew up my job yesterday. I know, or I think, I had valid grievances, but I feel like I create a narrative in my brain and I can't tell if I remember correctly.
On top of everything, my fear of just being a pariah and alone is yelling in my head right now.

I'm sorry that you're going through such a rough time
Are you seeing your psychiartrist now while you're going through this?
Do you have a therapist?
Writing that you 'just want to get sucked up in a hole and die' is no good sweetie
Would you consider going inpatient?
I've had a couple of inpatient stays and it helped me a great deal
My meds were adjusted and the only focus was on me and finding stability
Big hug and a blessing sent
