ouch...sorry about the maybe 'dystopia'

Have you had a sleep study?
Some of the meds can really aggravate RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) and PLMD(Periodic Limb Movement Disorder). I was in severe pain from the PLMD but did not know why because, of course, I was doing it in my sleep.
My husband figured out what it was. I would contract my muscles so hard My body would move off the bed.
There are meds to calm it down.

The muscle contractions started with my leg but eventually spread to my whole body, it hurt so badly I would cry. They always happened when I was awake. After a while the contractions and muscle tremor in my leg were constant. At the time that my "pseudo seizures" were the worst I was still misdiagnosed and was being treated for unipolar psychotic depression. I was on a high dose of antidepressants the whole time. When other symptoms cropped up they would throw a variety of other medications at me. I don't remember exactly what I was on at the time but they had me on enough meds to knock out a horse. I went off all of my meds because I was zombified all the time and they weren't helping. I had constant twitching and a continuous leg tremor that caused me to have to walk with a cane at 25 (very embarassing). The "pseudo seizures" slowly let up when I went off the medication. I still have them/it (?) sometimes but not all day, every day, like before.

Be angry. You can file complaints with the various medical organizations. I'm sorry this is all happening to you. Long ago I learned that I should trust my doctor, but not too much.
