Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

HAHA! I love that one!
--- Elenor Roosevelt
I like this one from Henry Babcock, who I know little of else...
Before I speak let me think,
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
If not, let it be left unsaid
I use it sometimes to give time for the thinking to catch up to the emotions.
1. You are you
you are not a condition
a disorder
or an illness
You are a wonderful creation and you were given this life for a purpose.
2. I may not be someone's first choice but I am a great choice.
I may not be rich but I am valuable. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect but I don't need to be. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away.
3. Don't be afraid to stand for what you believe in; even if it means standing alone.
4. I don't know the key to success but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.
5. Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know.
Hugs to all. Gramybear
