Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Do your best to just shake your head, think 'What a bunch of assholes. I'm never going to have anything to do with them again'' and then just write it off as a bad loss. They're not worth thinking about.
No, don't let this turn you into what they are. Be nice to people.
And keep being nice to them -- unless or until they give you a reason not be!!!
It's an admirable trait to have, to always do what you say you'll do!!!!!
But maybe you need to think about it some more.
I'm sure when you said you would take photos for them, you assumed you would be treated decently.
If they had said, 'Will you take these photos for us, for free, while we treat you like a piece of shit all day?', would you have agreed to do it then?
If you find yourself in a situation where you are being abused and you have to power to remove yourself from it, do so.
You mustn't force yourself to stay in it. You will make yourself sick.
Look at what staying did to you today!! It was Hell to go through and you are still being deeply affected by it!!
You're right!! Never again!!!
But that doesn't just mean not doing it in the first place.
It also means if you are doing something and it turns INTO something like that, you should leave.
If it's hard for you to leave even then, because you gave your word, then tell them why you're leaving.
Tell them that when you agreed to do it, you assumed you were going to be treated respectfully but now that you see your are going to be treated without respect, you are going to leave.
Then get your hiney out of there!!!!
Ugh!! The thought of all that you went through!!!!
I'm so sorry it went that way!!!
(((((Hugs)))))
The port-o-potty would have done it for me.
So, if I get any sleep (seeing as its 3:38 in the morning and I've only one hour of sleep so far. *too much pain to sleep*) I'm going to start a new me. when I wake up tomorrow. I'm gonna clean my apt, get ready for AZ, eat more than one pbj a day (I've gone back to eating little, if anything at all), take my meds right and on time (not mix up the hours between pain meds), I'm going to smile, listen to music, watch a funny movie, talk with my friends who I love with my whole heart, edit some epic photos from the shoot today... Tomorrow I will be who I really want to be. It's too late at night to do all of that, so I'm not procrastinating. lol
