Why are you at work on a Saturday - No government worker I have ever had was ever willing to pull a Saturday

Can we skip today and act like its still yesterday?

Has Soss boarded the plane for the jungle yet and if so is her parachute properly loaded?

the case loads here are so insane that the only way I can hope to half-way keep up is to come in on Saturday. We don't get overtime, which is why no govt worker is usually willing to work on Sat. We get "comp time" That means instead of money we get extra time off. I need it for all my doc appts and physical therapy. I am now on anxiety meds in addition to all the other stuff I take. However, the computers are down this time- tehy usually have em working for us on the third Sat of each month, so I am basically looking for stuff to do........I'm trying to put up returned mail, which is a complete waster of my time. I think they ought to let us trash the stuff.
And on that note I will get back to mindlessly pushing papers around on my desk so as to look busy
