Hey Andrea...since you are an employee of the state don't they have some sort of additional disability program. I know in KY it is easier for state employees to get disability and they get additional funds because they are employees of state??
Is there anybody NOT in your department that you could contact? I know those around you are not very easy to work with??

Sara- there is but I haven't been with the state long enough to qualify- got 3 more years to go. Have to have ten years in the system, from my understanding. The biggest problem with working for govt is everything has to be worded just so and the paperwork has to be just right. The govt is totally OCD with it's paperwork. The good news is, the two and a half years I have with the shcool system counts for my ten years. So in August 2013 i will have ten years. I just hope I can hold out that long.
