Has anyone undergone ECT? What is it like? Is it impatient or an outpatient thing? I have tried everything and I am getting pretty frustrated. But, I have heard from some individuals that ECT has worked wonders for them. But, they also say that you have to go under anesthesia and the procedure has to take place multiple times. Can anyone answer any of these questions? I don't want to talk to my psychietrist about it just yet because I dont want to but ideas in her head of what treatment I want to continue with.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I wonder if someone can use their car batteries and jumper cables and do the same thing?
Someone had posted on utube a film showing them going through it and it didn't look a all what I thought it would look like. It was very mild lookng.
I don't know if this is the same experience for everyone, nor do I know how much she had, but she scared me off of it. She eventually regained her skills, but had to go through a lot of occupational therapy.
I hope you can find another option.
