Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I went to a new psychiatrist on Wednesday.. he said iM not bipolar 1 or at all most likely.. he said possibly have major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and PTSD. Then he said he doesn't usually give labels this early, but he can just tell. Idk what to think about it.. it's been 3 years since my initial diagnosis.. 4 psychiatrist later and I hear this. I am kinda broken about it I feel lied to and I feel like I don't really have anyone that understands.. I've been putting so many meds in my body for almost no reason.. I know I probably should leave the group now.. but I want to say thank all of you for the past months since I've joined. Im gonna miss you guys..
Love always, Kayla xo

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Its not always about the "labels" it's about treating the symptoms and what works.
You have 3 Psychiatrists who've said you were BiPolar and 1 who says you aren't after 1 meeting just because "he can tell". I can tell you that "gut feelings" or 20 minute observations are not accurate Testing Criteria for any Psychiatrist to use. So perhaps this guy may be making rash assumptions before he's even gotten to know you.
You don't have to say goodbye here sweetie... You might want to look at the PTSD board on here along with this board though... I am on both and it's a good board as well... Another hug sweetie.... xo
