They say that I should start to feel a little better after treatment # 6. I really hope that's true. The actual treatment isn't bad. I go in, they place an IV, then they take me into the treatment room. They put a bunch of electrodes on my forehead then inject me with anesthesia. I wake up probably about 15-20 minutes later and then they send me on my way until my next treatment.
Of course, I spend the whole day groggy from the anesthesia and I have a pretty constant headache....but otherwise it's not a big deal.
Just thought I'd let you all know how my ECT is going.

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

Ugh my depression is really being triggered by the grief of losing my mom. Ugh it sucks. I wish this pain would leave me already.

I hope that all the positive effects that are supposed to take place start happening soon, too!!!!!! (((((Hugs)))))
I thought I might lose track of what day it is (yesterday was my daughter's birthday) but nothing like that has happened. I'm still able to keep track of what day it is, which appointments i have and even little things that I promise to my kids/nephew.
The biggest pain in the ass is that I can't drive for about 2 months. So I have to rely on my Mom and Sister to drive me to all my appointments...and pick me up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the benefits of this treatment will catch up to me soon.
Thank you all for your support!
HUGS !
