we've gone backwards again, DS has reset back to an earlier time so posts and threads have disappeared.
replies made last night/ this morning have gone.
the new members list does not include the latest joiners that I hugged this morning.
a message sent to me today has gone - plus my reply has disappeared.
I've reported it. Mark

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

So this is all still in flux I take it. Aborted migration was simply a stop over along the way and we can expect more of the same?
Seems much harsher than the 1000s of email notices caused by multiple hugs and such during the last upgrade. Or did this sort of thing happen then as well.
Strange that my tdoc challenged me on Monday to leave ds alone for one week just to see what would happen. I'm glad I didn't accept.
I do hope they know the meaning of the word contrite and express such in the message.
It's not really here at all.
Nor are our replies.

You take that back!!! That filthy word you said!!!!
'Migration'!!!!
MY yellow sign doesn't say anything about 'migration' this time!!!
Just 'scheduled site maintenance'.
(Mind you, I don't know if that's any better or worse than 'migration'.)
This place is starting to remind me of 'Dick's Last Resort' or other similar restaurants whose 'schtick' is to be purposely rude to the customers, LOL!!!
One place is so bad they actually pick patrons up, chair and all, and carry them outside and plop them in the street!!!! LOL!!!
I remember that movie. I'm sort of surprised you watched it too. The scene in the bus depot with the bicycle pump and the german police woman will stay with me forever.
I watched it for er..the soundtrack.
I know last night I had a couple of hugs when I checked on my phone that disappeared, which I thought odd. Now I know better.
I have a new (conspiracy) theory. We are really caught in some kind of internet vortex, somewhat like the one on Enterprise, the last of the Star Trek series, which I know no one watched it was so soap opera-like and poorly written/directed/acted/etc.
So I don't think this is about DS at all!! I think it is about aliens abducting the site, to do experiments on humans beings - their responses to stress, the loss of comfort from hugs, and blocking communication.
Actually, I do have a thought as to who might be behind this entire plot. A dear friend, provided me with a link to the end of the internet. Now, I don't fault her, I know it is her nature to trick people, but my thought is that the DS technicians followed that link, and are now hopelessly caught in the vortex - nothing will ever again be normal, unless we can cross time and universes, and return the poor techs to the real world.
Who is with me? Don your Star Trek gear, phasers on stun and be prepared for another fun and erratic ride.
And I liked Enterprise...Janeway always had me on stun.
What people don't know about Star Trek would fill a book!! To quote CS Lewis!
~smiles~ Picard don't do it for me...but I bet I watched all them too.
So embrace your depression.
Don't slouch , defeated.
After it's fixed, send prayers , chocs n puckers.
To all o'your friends.
Don't fret
Motherfuckers
And an Interplanetary delivery!
