DS Blocking Accounts!

I have been a member of this community for about 6 months. Recently, I had a problem with my account and couldn't get on site. I wrote support many times over a period of 4 days , but never received any help. I opened a new account and started building my friends list again, sent out some hugs and a couple messages. I also commented on some posts. Well, this morning I get on site and send a hug and this message comes up that I have abuse my account as a new member. What is this Shit? I'm very angry at DS. I wrote them a long, angry email and told them to reinstate my account immediately. They still haven't. Has anyone else had this problem? What do you think about this? What can we do to prevent this from happening again? I'm really mad!

I happened to meonce. Said i had gone over my limit and i had been on maybe 2 days. I re-entered and got back in. screwed up some days

that happened to me yesterday... I joined all these communities and posted too much I guess, and they blocked my account.

I emailed them and they fixed it.

I guess that if people report you as abusive, they will block your account. I wonder how many have to report, and why you don't get a chance to present your side of the story. Seems like someone could get blackballed very easily.

denise I had just been on for a couple of days and was not abusive at all. It may be just a gliche.msp........ in the system.

doyouhearwhatihear (i love that nickname)--with me it was not about reports of being abusive either! It was because they had seen "too much activity" for a new user and they blocked me to make sure i wasn't a spam robot. something like that.

I never abuse my useage. They said something about blocking spam and stuff like that.

that happened to me yesterday as well. sai i was posting too much. i just emailed them to explain that i was just trying to make friends an they unblocked it

Multiple accounts stemming from the same IP address can also be a cause of the message/warning. Like someone else said, we had some real nutjobs in here pretending to be different people for the sole purpose of harassment and dischord.

Frustrating !!

Can't send messages, hugs, or make new friends because the account has been blocked.

I sent an e-mail as instructed this time yesterday - but nothing has changed.

What's the score ?

I sent 5 emails yesterday and my account is still blocked. I understand that they want to protect the site from spam and other abuses, but I explained my situation like they said to, still nothing. I hate to do it, but I'm going to write Doug.
