So I recently had the neuropsych testing that revealed that I have a visual memory impairment. And now I have to see a new dr to get a second opinion n my meds in order to have the Rehabilitation person help me find work. You have all been through this nightmare on here with me. Well....a little bit ago I typed in my med list on a website that can detect interactions....well.....umm.....it certainly explains why I can't concentrate or even think at all...and it s a wonder I'm not dead. I see the new dr on June 9th. In the meantime, I am scared. I don't know what to think. I can't believe my psych would knowingly do this to me. Or maybe I am stupid for not checking it myself. But I TRUSTED her. I feel like quitting all my meds but I know it isn't wise. I had a dr back in 2007 tell me I was on too much medicine (9 YEARS AGO). I stopped everything overnight. 8 days later I came close to ending my life. What do I do? What is going to happen to me?
I am terrified right now.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I think if alot of people actually checked side effects, interactions etc then they probably wouldn't take much at all.
Unfortunately if you are bipolar you don't have much choice but to take meds unless you are really lucky. For me I've judged the effects are worth the side effects.
But it's not just bipolar meds - it's anything that has an effect is likely to have some other effect. I recently got caught out by a fairly major side effect from a herbal over the counter med.
Like in all things in life, if you don't pay attention you are likely to have unexpected problems.
