this is ME were talking about and im not about to condone drinking but i do still drink and have not noticed any change at all.

I seldom drink... I notice,it may be a coincidence... that I am depressed for a few days after if I do... I think I would do well to refrain...

I drank on meds and it almost killed me.
Some people can do it.
however doctors recomend agianst it.
Esp with lithium and meds that can hurt the liver and kidneys
Alchol is weird your body doesnt matabolize it it just enters the blood stream and then eventually gets filtered out
and then all the sugar with alchol
that is anonther story

My two cents says give up the alchol it is a depressent .

Drinking negates all your meds effects. As long as you drink they WON'T work!

If you want them to work quit drinking.

Im drinking right now. Usually have a few wine coolers on friday nights. I have small airplane bottles of vodka tempting me but I will leave them alone. Thats when all the trouble starts ..after the shots. I plan to fall asleep by ten because my pills wont allow me to be drunk and stay awake ! It makes me tired now. I cant party and drink all night anymore. I take my ambien and go to sleep. Gotta stay home ..no drinking in bars anymore. I like it.Ive had my fill with bars anyway ..lots of going out made me older then I am. Well FEEL older. I was partying my life away.

I have one glass of wine in the evening and it doesn't seem to have any kind of detrimental effect on my taking medication. We are all different, though, and if drinking is a problem, that should be taken very seriously...probably not a good idea in that case.
