One of the caregivers here (they are all women) has taken a dislike to me. I've tried befriending her,even bought her flowers,which she posted a photo of in Facebook. I'm a Christian and I've tried to do what I thought God wanted me to do,but I may have been mistaken. The latest example: I approached her a few evenings ago about filling the paper towel dispenser in "our" bathroom (4 guys who are roommates and me). The dispenser had stayed empty for several days,but I was afraid to ask her for more paper towels,so the guys and I shared a hand towel. Finally I approached her about it and was as polite as I could be,asking "May we have paper towels in our bathroom? I don't think it's sanitary for us all to use the same towel." Her response was to snort,"Well,your hands are clean,aren't they?" She did give us the paper towels,but I feel really degraded by the way she handles things like this. She and the owner are close friends,is why she hasn't been fired or even reprimanded.The nicer I am to her,the nastier she gets.She will be here this whole weekend and I am dreading it so. One reason she might be so mean is that I just bought a new car with some of my trust money,and I don't have to work.She may be jealous.
