had guest doctors on they are doing studies that bi-polar and some other mental health issues may be caused by infections in us for years. who knows. so many young kids are being treated for this,,could it be from foods also? was interesting show.

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. As far as I can recall apart from a straight genetic cause there is also some theories about a gut infection causing bipolar and one about it might be some kind of food allergy reaction type of thing.
The genetics bit is solid - huge studies involving records of literally millions of people. The "allergy" type theory there looks as if there is something there but it's alot less solid and unlike the genetics the link is alot poorer.
