Im so glad that I am home. Away from my father in law that is a highly functioning alcoholic and my mother in law that is an enabler. So over all the drinking and stupid people. My arch nemesis was there(she's the lunatic wife of my husband's best friend). She invited herself over and not a soul except for her MIL talked to her. I wish I could say go home you crazy bitch and you told your husband yesterday you hated his entire family especially his mother...but I guess when NO ONE will talk to you, your MIL will suffice. I am so ready for her to be out of our lives. I don't like to wish divorce on anyone but she is emotionally, verbally and physically abusive to our friend. He is getting close to being strong enough to leave but he's a typical battered person. If only I hadn't done X then Y wouldn't have happened. I hate to see him hurting. He's been friends with my husband since they were 7 so this sucks. I hope everyone else had a good 4th but I'm glad it's over.

i just stayed home, of course. as always. asked mom to bring back some food but she didn't understand what i was saying or forgot.
:( oh well. nothing to complain about, just wished i was included in some way.
want to participate in life is all.
