I sing.I sing alto.

I sing, used to sing soprano as a kid, now I've had children I'm a alto...very strange! My voice has totally changed, I'm having to learn how to use it all over again.
I love singing, with the piano, really belting it out!

I love to listen to mucic but I am tone deaf when it comes to getting what I hear out of my mouth. :(

The only song I know the lyrics to is Take Me Out To The Ballgame. I love melodies a lot but I just can't memorize lyrics.So " Take me out to the ballgame take me out to the crowd buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks I don't care if I ever get back so its root root root for the Dodgers if they don't win its a shame for its one two three strikes your out at the old ballgame.

Alto mostly. I range from soprano to tenor...my music teacher adored me when I was a child. I don't know if it's because I could sing or because I do it so enthusiastically. I can't stop myself, I just belt it out so I guess the question is really whether I should sing. I have no clue what I really sound like. I could be horrible?

I sang once and recorded it.
It must have been a gift for that one and only time because I couldnt' do it again... I've tried.
I'd like to learn how to play a musical instrument tho.

I'm a mezzo soprano, but can hit alto pitches on the bottom. I've got a few songs on my video page, but I'm only singing harmonies..husband singing lead. I'll have to find one to upload with me doing lead.

I feel most comfortable in alto, but can stretch to a decent soprano range...think Avril Lavigne, Miranda Lambert, Dixie Chicks, Allison Krauss and that about shows the range of my diversity!

in high school choir they used me for what they needed: i could sing any part from alto to first soprano.

now i can do a bit of a second soprano register.

but mostly i stay in the alto range. i like to sing husky & a little sexy.

I'm a falsetto, too!! They'd stick me wherever they needed me, alto to soprano.
They used to get a kick out of me at work, when I'd sing 'Paradise by the Dashboard Light'.
Can hum and whistle at the same time, too. (Not along with the singing.) That's lots of fun!!! I like accompanying myself!!!
