Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
But on the other hand, I think bipolar gives us a unique, if not quirky sense of humor. I love that part. I love a good laugh, and sometimes that is what I find here, or in the most unusual places.
When I reflect on some of the crazy things I've done, it can make me laugh, but then I also reflect on the long line of not-so-funny incidents that were a direct result because of my then undiagnosed illness and they fill me with regret.
Its all humerous to some extent
But it's just natural that I would because I find humor in EVERYTHING!!!!! My whole family is the same way, so I guess it's my upbringing!!!!!
At least I am circumspect about when and how I express it, for the most part. (But I'm almost always laughing on the inside!!!)
rather flat in my emotions. I do believe that humor is healthy, so if you can laugh, all the more power to you!
sometimes i laugh at the things i came up with...
most of the time my friends laughed at me but laughed with me too...my sense of humour went up a lot when manic... i miss them days.. now i'm not manic i don't know i feel alright now and normal at the moment anyway i'm sure depression and manic will come just not as much as it did off medication but i don't get it as bad anymore.. thank god to my meds. :)
