When you are filing for disability, can you move to another city or to another state while you are waiting for a decision? I'm not sure how it works?? Ty...

Social Security is a federal program however they will need to get in touch with you at an address.

This question could be answered by calling them or contacting a local non-profit that works with mental health issues. Someone out there knows the answer most social workers would...

MayB is right on! Since it's a federal program, it doesn't matter where you live in the USA BUT you do need to keep the feds updated on your address. Good luck, sweetie.

My caseworker the rehabilitation services is going to write a letter for me to back up my disability claim.
