this will probably sound crazy, but I feel like I was bisexual before my second breakdown being 70% attracted to men and 30% attracted to women. Now, I feel like I'm 60% attracted to women and 40% attracted to men. I was unable to have orgasms on psychiatric drugs and was on them for about 2 1/2 years. I felt I had recovered enough to get off the drugs and did so, with the help of my counselor and psychiatrist.
a few weeks after I got off the drugs, I experienced the first return of lustful feelings, but not with my husband, but while watching a soap opera. A female character simply took off her dress and revealed a bikini and I was instantly into it. That had never happened to me before. I did develop a thyroid problem from lithium, which can mess with hormones. I think that could be the cause. But I still feel more attracted to women than I ever did pre-psychiatric drugs. I really feel like they made me more bisexual.

I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

as for your sexuality.. no not about the BP..more about everything else youve been thru and your bp.
make sure your husband still feels special. he is a living breathing human being and deserves to be treated better than you fantasies, not saying this is so..just a nudge.
The more testosterone the more of a male sex drive you would have .
The estrogen the more of a female sex drive .
The rest of the preference I believe is up to the individual or what turns them on witch is another chemical .
I was not manic when I noticed my increased attraction to women, nor did I have high testosterone ( had it tested by OBGYN when I was having thyroid issues)... this shift has seemed to lasting, since I have been off psychiatric drugs for almost 5 years.
I do love my husband and we are still happy
