I feel like a bomb that is on a timer...like its just a matter of time before I fly into a rage. Little things are making me so angry I want to punch something or someone and scream and curse. I've gained control over myself before I've lost it all for now but I feel it just building up. Should I tell my husband whats going on or just keep it to myself? I feel if I talk about it I will just bring the dark beast to the surface and then there will be no taming it. The Abilify use to work for this. Now being unmedicated and unable to be right now I don't really know what to do. If I could just break some things and scream I've got to let this out. I've had some very bad intrusive destructive thoughts going through my mind.

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

i think you should give an indication to your man that things are not going so well as you might end up in an argument over something stupid
i hope you can tame the beast
what about meditation , that might help

I really wish I had good advice - I get uncontrolled rages with my borderline issues, and the only thing I can do at the moment is set Boundaries for myself somewhat in advance - "this is what I won't do, no matter what"...that kind of thing.
What happens when you lose your cool? With me, I may say Okay, I will throw things, but not At someone, and if I think I am in danger of Needing to throw things I will put things out that are Better/okay to throw, so I won't choose Irreplaceable things, etc.
What have you done to "keep control" in the past?
Goingthruthemotions....it usually happens so fast I don't have time to think, or so it seems. Right now it is just at the point of thinking about it...I usually skip the part of thinking about it and just go crazy. In the past that's when I've almost killed myself...I'd be in a rage against someone else and then turn it on myself. Maybe if I just have it out and argue about that little stuff I won't explode. I've calmed down since going to sleep last night I dont feel like throwing things but I'm still mad. I also have this irritating cold right now that's confined me to the house. Blah.
