You'll be monitored around the clock and it's a safe place if they need to figure out a med regime that will be more helpful
You are in my thoughts and prayers.....xo
As some of you know, I live in a group home with supervision by the owner. Darla (not her real name) and I had a long talk first thing this morning about the possibility of my going to the state hosp. She said it's not that easy, you have to go through hearings etc.
After my last hospital stay, I was prescribed Haldol for auditory hallucinations prn, and Vistaril for anxiety prn. Carla asked me why I wasn't taking any of those when I was doing so poorly. I started taking the Vistaril and Haldol today, which is helping with the scattered thoughts. That was the thing that scared me the most. I'm feeling more clear-headed now. Carla and I talked with my case manager, and we all agreed that another hospitalization, esp. in the state hospital, was not the answer.
I know some of you have been praying for me since you read my post, thank you for your prayers.
