Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I am really depressed. I am feeling really angry. I feel like my family doesn't care about me, they just use me because they are lazy. I brought this up to them before but they just get defensive and won't listen. I don't have any close friends around. I'm pretty lonely. I go to a rl support group and an art group. I just don't have anyone to hangout with like I used to.

I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...

Depression does color how we see the world....
Do what makes you happy and fulfilled
I would second art as a really good outlet if you're lonely and have a lot of time on your hands. I do a lot of oil painting and collage and it's just amazingly therapeutic. Plus such things can lead to friends as you can talk shop with other artists.
It's super hard to make friends as an adult. I agree. The friends I have are from grad school and recovery. Outpatient groups and support groups are great places to meet like minded folk. Good luck with that.
And remember, your cat will always love you no matter what.
Naps...I take naps. Usually after 2-3 hours it will go away after I get up. I don't know any other cure.
I hope you have a good day nonetheless.
