Hi all--what do you know about this term "covert bipolar" (disorder)? Is it clinical speak for "high-functioning" bipolar II? Or maybe not so much?
I recall my pdoc mentioning this at our last session, and there i was nodding along, and here I am 10 days later saying "huh"?
I guess I'm a bubbling, lidded cauldron, though...everything seems to be "covert." except for my medication bottles!

I've never heard of it.
When I first glance I thought it said something else that made no sense at all.
DD--thanks for the halloween costume idea. My 4-yr old will be Jimi hendrix and i shall be a ninja. Yeah, that sounds about right :)
Some of the psycho babble I think of as just so much crap....lol
