i had a fun but stressful day today. My family planned a surprise party to celebrate my sisters college graduatiOn. Everything went well but scrambling around last minute and setting up was rough. I actually managed pretty well during the party as I kept busy. But now I am home and exhausted so I'm wondering, what is your favorite coping skill to wind down and relax? I'm not leaving the house lol

Sometimes it comes down to counting my breath...pretty much works for me to get calmed down...count the breath going in to 10 and start all over again.

*This is also the place where a mindless craft comes in mighty handy!

I I just tool an eight hour round trip to visit a friend of mine who is unwell, she is in hospital. I had to stay with a friend. all very stressful. my friend had the tv on all the time so i took periodic naps to cope and was very glad to leave and come home last night. it will take several days in my room to recover! I also had to put off friend's advances on friday night which I was not expecting but managed not to let it ruin our friendship!, Men!
I am glad you had a good time Kisses - just take time to relax to yourself now and wind down.

I like to journal, do yoga, and/or take a bath.

Thanks. I did a guided sleep meditation last night but my dog kept me up roaming around. She makes me nervous cause she won't ask to go potty anymore at night so everything she gets up I boot awake to take her outside just in case. And I do that several times at night

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
