If you cut or hurt yourself, or have the urge to do it you should get help. But it's probably not life threatening. You probably did it for relief from your inner pain. The physical pain helped me deal with the pain and shame I felt inside. I did not do it to get attention from others because I was embarrassed about it and tried to hide it from my loved ones just like you... if that's what's happening. Don't fret over it but talk to your doctor because therapy and meds can help. It works for me most of the time.

no, no, not me, somebody else. It was a spell where I felt like I might hurt sombody else. it passed though. what's weird though is that I called my doc first thing in the am. I got his sect. and she promised she'd give him the message...still haven't heard back from him.
Then I had a friend over to visit. The urges started again, only this time, I had the urge to lick her. yes, you read that right. I think my brain might be melting (shrug)

did that already....called twice, all I get is...be patient, he'll call when he calls. and the sect is getting annoyed.
