Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

My 3 year old died on New Years Eve, so me and the kids thought we would try to talk to her a year later on NYE. We try, and then one of the kids toys started playing music. Freaked me out and I couldn't finish.
I was almost obsessed with trying to know the future or ghosts..even though I was a skeptic. I got caught up in mythology...especially greek and studied all about the eleusinian mystery cult . ( I still find the demeter/persephone story beautiful but now I don't try to practice those kinds of rituals anymore)
I used to lay in graveyards by myself at midnight trying to face my fear of death. I just got out of hand. I got into magic and I really thought I could manipulate the world to come around to what I wanted to happen. I am not criticizing people who do use magic as a way of life but my mind and my cognitive thinking errors got reinforced hurting me. Like fortune telling...I would use the cards over and over until I got the response I wanted. Or scyring water or fire would scare me with things I would see. I learned symbolism at a young age and the symbols I would see scared me many times. So this would just reinforce my mental illness problems.
So you know you have to weigh why you want to play with the Ouija board. There is darkness out there. The way I know darkness is that fear was driving me when I was involved in these types of activities. A state of constant fear is not healthy and because I was so obsessed with this stuff I reaped that fear.
If your doing it for fun and can let it go would be a better way to go about it. If your fearful and have a quest to understand the unknown like I did you may want to stay away.
My advice is find something more positive to do if you are depressed. Please! (There is something behind it, it is not imagination, but I'll tell you, it is NOT good!)
I wish you the very best at defeating your depression and I hope that you cheer up soon. Peace to you.
I guess its just a thing with death, maybe?
If you are bored or depressed there are many other things to do. You can stay on the board with us or reach out to a particular friend.
I hope you knock out your depression.
We had fun doing that when we were kids!!! I can only remember one time when we got anything really impressive out of it. We asked it the middle name of someone whose middle name we did not know and it turned out to be right.
Big whip. Tell me the lottery numbers!!!!
That's interesting that it's when you are depressed that you get the urge!!
I'm sorry that you're feeling depressed!!! I hope you're feeling happier soon!! (((((Hugs)))))
