Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

This bitch talks down to me and dismisses things I tell her i have researched on the web. Like I told her a symptom of ADD and she's snippy like "Thats not A symptom of ADD" with this foul look on her face like I'm a dumbass. Stupid fuck.

Compassion. He sees me as a person not just a patient. We talk about life not just meds and since he knows how much I hate them, he works with me as to how much I want to be medicated. He's great!!!

I recently moved and had to get a new pdoc. i really like him. He's very knowledgeable about bp and the meds we use. My old pdoc always went to conferences about bp and kept up with all the new stuff. I've been blessed with 2 good pdocs.

overloading himself with too many patients so that you're in and out in 10 minutes no matter what's going on, good or bad. thus, my recent switch to a new practice.

Don't have any complaints about mine either. He listens, he treats me like a person, he lets me be in control of the medications I'm comfortable taking and not taking, he returns phone calls quickly when I'm having a crisis, kept me in samples for about six months of a super-expensive drug I was taking that the insurance refused to cover, he keeps up on all the latest research, and my GP says he's the doctor in town whom everybody calls when they have questions about meds. He's an absolute angel.

My pdoc is 1.5 hours away and he talks sometimes for 2.5 hours just to hear himself talk. I want to get in and get out! He has a heart of GOLD, very rehursed on BP via Standford University contacts and seminars. He is good to only charge me $60.00 a visit but I would trade him in a minute to get a pdoc or a doc close to home that will prescribe me my meds! I am testing out a doc on the 15 and hope he cuts it. I don't need a pdoc I just need the meds!
