Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
After 7 years of Prozac, which did cure my depression...
the pdoc told me to stop taking the last 20? 30 mg immediately.
No one ever followed me up on this.
But all that time I had no libido,
and hardly any creative thoughts. (NOT bipolar!! lol)
Now I feel like the old me-with ideas and projects and creativity and motivation.
But not out of control
niot irritible, or unrealistic...
Just healthy and positive... any one else suffer from loss of higher thought on Prozac?
To be honest- I feel robbed.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I felt foul, irritable and just nauseated. I think you are supposed to gradually go off those meds..imho.
Nothing like the mind body connection which brings back all the senses.
I too believe many times depression is a reaction to a bad situation going on in your life at the time and worrying what will be.
Keep well and keep the juices flowing.
