Precious - that's good that he lives close, I'm sure you don't like it much, but for your kid's sake it's good. My parents lived almost three hours away from each other, so it was always a hassle to make the drive down to my mom's. I always wished they lived closer to each other.

Pagan - that sounds like great weather. Nothing wrong with bein a Scrooge lol. It was in the 40s and sunny with a slight chill, not very Christmas-y either, but it's ok :)

In all honesty I don't mind him living so close, it makes it easier on me. In good weather the kidlets can walk to their dad's house.
