Good morning everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful week-end. I spent some quality time with my family. We visited Buffalo, NY, went shopping, and stopped by Niagara Falls in the evening. I very much enjoyed myself.

Good morning, Friends! I've finally figured out how to post on this darn new format - i thought i'd never be able to get to the end of the messages to add a new one.

Had a WONDERFUL day yesterday shopping at the thrift store - spent about $80 which i don't have BUT that's okay ... it will work itself out. I feel like i bought a whole new wardrobe! That may sound trivial, but it sure as heck makes me smile!

I hope everyone has a super day -- we've got the whole Independence Day happening. My uncle has retrieved a permit from the village to light off fireworks. He said the party starts at 1pm - but it doesn't get dark until 9pm! That's a whopping load of a party. My son wants to go but doesn't want to just hang around drunk adults (I don't blame him!), so we'll see if we go. I personally was told over and over again by my pediatrician that i cannot watch fireworks or i will have a seizure. So, i just never do - and i've never had a seizure. (One time, I came close)

Omg I need so much ice cream and noise canceling headphones syringe than what I've got.... These fireworks in my neighborhood are serious driving me insane! I'm so agitated and I don't have any way to get rid of the noise! It's been non stop all weekend and tonight it is insane how many every second are going off. Big loud bangs then all the car alarms go off for a few minutes and then there are people yelling to stop but nobody can hear. And have you ever looked at the cost of fireworks?!?! That could be money spent on more important things! Why is everything so complicated? Why can't people just buy a pack of sparklers and call it a day?!?! Agggggghhhhhhhhh
