Pagan I spotted some left over shepherds pie in the fridge so I shall have that for lunch - it is 1.oopm here. it looks delicious, I will finish it off so it won't rain tomorrow!!!
hope monday is being good to all.
Sitting down with a cup of tea....and listening to all the bird songs...
I'll feel so much better after its done.
Getting more coffer now. And some yogurt
whales - it is great when the house gets in order. I don't think people realise how upsetting it is when we just cannot do it. I am glad you're getting help. it is absolutely worth it.
pagan - the pie was perfect and i had a lovely nap for a couple of hours so beginning to recover a little from the days in hospital. they are very tiring places to be in.
splitscreen - good to see you too, the ups and downs are not very nice but i am glad you're getting through it.
i hope i don't find it too difficult to get out to class tonight. the thought of it does not appeal to me at all, specially after a three week easter break. I would love to just stay holed up in my room and not have to deal with anything.
the blue pot never fails me - the coffee is still hot so that is a major plus at the moment while i try to gather myself again.
have a good afternoon.
lets have a jump around in the ballpool followed by some milkshakes and then if Mayb arrives we can open a bottle of rose?
how's that for a plan?
I'd like to make bacon and hashbrowns this morn, if only I had the ingredients.
What's everyone having in the lounge?
enjoy the day.
hope tuesday is behaving itself for everyone else?
Time we'll tell were we we'll end up.
yogurt. At my house. Isishwriter I want to come to your house you always come up with good stuff to eat
I did actually venture out today and did a half hour walk by the river and then went to meet my friend helen, I just had soup with her and coffee and we spent about two hours together.
I am now safely in my room again with my pot of coffee and relaxing but glad I went and did it. It has taken me over four years to start leaving my room/house even occasionally so i am trying to keep it up even if it is only baby steps at a time.
I picked some primroses on my walk and they look lovely in a little yogurt jar beside my bed! i was very happy to find them.
any thoughts on dinner for this evening? we could throw something on the barbecue and do some mixed salads. there's plenty of fresh bread including my favourite walnut bread just out of the oven. how do steaks and chicken sound? or some peppered sausages? I filled a big wrap of aluminium (spelling, we call it tinfoil!) foil with vegetables and have them roasting with lemon and soy sauce on the charcoals so they should be ready any time anyone wants some.
I think some portugese red wine and some german white would be lovely with the lot and a big cream chocolate cake for dessert.
enjoy.
