i wwent to the pharmacy to get a refill for my risperdal prescrition cause im feeling depressed again.only to find out there was no refil and i can only c my pdoc mayb friday.i just dont hav any energy or desire to do or c any1,feeling like a complete failure cause i cant seem to feel beta.therapy doesnt seem to help,im trying to fight.just feeling frustrated.

wll, if u can't see the pdoc till fri, can you call on monday for a refill?

If it is a standing script..the Pharmacist ,MAy give you a few pills ,till you can contact your Pdoc..but why can't you call before Fri..that seems a long time to wait.
The Pharmacy ,ususally will only give you 2 or 3 pills to hold you over ,until you can get in touch with your Pdoc.

Pdoc on holiday...is there someone he has left to watch over his patients while he's away..most Pdoc's will have a co-worker,or some other Pdoc they know cover for them while they are gone.

My Pdoc was on holiday once,for 5 weeks..I went into crisis ,and had a phone consultation with his cover Pdoc..we talked a bit,and for the time being,he recommended a minor meds change.

If you can get in to see a walk in clinic doctor or even your local emergency room doctor they should provide you with a script and likely a few pills to get you by until you fill it. I would definitely do this immediately; it can be quite hazardous to discontinue meds cold turkey like this. I hope and pray you are able to get something to get you by until you see your pdoc. When I say hazardous, by the way, I mean that it can interrupt your current therapy and throw you off of your game temporarily.

My pharmacy usually calls my docs for refills. Can you leave a message for your docs? Is it possible he will check in between now and friday?

Another idea...

My GP knows I am BP. When my pdoc is unavailable my GP has written me a script for a week or two supply of my meds to get me through.

Do you have a GP who may be able to do this?

that's great, dancing...that's why we pay them so much...they should be there for us in a crisis...anita, your pdoc won't leave you hanging, just call the office, someone there should be able to help you

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
