Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
ok. So here is the thing. In 2016 I went through neuropsychological testing to see WHY I was having trouble with learning new jobs. I had had THREE jobs in 6 months let me go because I wasn’t “learning fast enough”. And I was told that I was cognitively impaired. I kept a job from August 2016 until May 2018. However, that job was really NOT that involved as far as details. Now I am at a job where I am being expected to learn ALOT in a short period of time. I am really stressing because I don’t think they are going to keep me. The girl who is training me is saying things like “well by FRIDAY, I would expect that you will be able to know how to do_____”. I am worried that this is going to lead to yet ANOTHER failure. It is causing me ALOT of anxiety. I am really actually worried about my cognitive functioning. I forget things ALOT and I DO HAVE TROUBLE picking up on new things. Sometimes I even have a hard time trying to form a sentence. I am wondering if anyone else has this issue? If so, what do you do?

I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...

After my then husband (now ex) had his Traumatic Brain Injury he lost all cognitive function and had to do Neuropsych Cognitive Therapy for a year.
They should be able to offer you some type of program to help you strengthen those parts of the brain.
