I just figured this out in the last few days but for the last month or so coffee has put me to sleep. I don't even drink it anymore to wake me up but because if I forget it I have blinding headaches. But now my son is making fun of me because I get up in the morning feeling ok, have 2 cups of coffee and promptly fall asleep for 2 hours..... If I drink iced tea ion the afternoon, same thing.... nap time. Anyone heard of this being a side effect of medication? The Lithiun and the Latuda are fairly new. I never noticed a definitely pick me up but it never made me sleep before....... I'll give up the coffee if I must.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I like my daily pot - and avoid the headache at all cost! But doesn't always "help or wake me"
in other words, Gina is right (as usual): our bodies are pretty often "outta whack"!
I am now allergic to caffiene so much that if I have a can of coke I bounce off the walls for six hours then collapse for twenty four hours.
so just stop coffee, I drink red bush tea now, it tastes good with sugar or honey. Beleaive me after a while you dont need that caffiene boost that I MISS like a fish misses water, or it would if siddenly found itself hot air balloning with a gibbon called colin.
My ex used to have that same effect from it.... It always calmed him down..
I'd never wake up without it...x
