Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I'm constantly walking into things and falling over. My legs are covered in bruises.
I hope it's a medication issue for you though, so then at least it's easily fixed.
I feel so horribly clumsy. It's embarrassing.
Anyways, until you adjust you will fall ass over tea kettle for awhile.
It's the med change.... talk to your pdoc at your next appointment and let them know, show them your bruises....
When I was on Klonapin, and manic on 06, I was running around and bumping into everything, I couldn't feel a thing, my whole body was bruised ...... this is a no brainer!
my daughter is the same way and my grandson who is six is clumsy to,I think it runs in my family. LOLOLOL. be careful seriously you don't want to fall and break something, call the dr and see if he thinks it could be your meds,or look up the side effects. Hugs to Hanna :)
BUT.....Lithium makes me very clumsy. Lithium, however, does help to slow down my thinking when I am manic, and that helps with more academic tasks.
