does anyone feel this way sometimes? I tend to feel this way at times and I don't know what triggers it, except I think when I am faced with making an assertive move or decision about somethings. I know I am being vague
I am just trying to tap into what makes it that way. I am not sure if it's symptomatic of illness.
Maybe I obsess about ideas sometimes and follow them to their conclusion (and write about it - that I do.) Other times, when there's not a logic about things and I just need to make a move about something assertively pragmatic, like thinking about what I will do professionally.
Or even accepting the possibility of dating someone. I go all vague.
Thanks if you can offer any kind of experience like this that you might have.
Peace,
MM

Basically a loss of confidence in myself .....Is this a BP thing ?
I'm not sure, but it does seem to have happened around my first big breakdown.
After that breakdown, I just don't have the confidence I once had .
i can get so 'sorta yes, sorta no' about things probably because of a lack of confidence too.
it's been something, now that i am thinking about, something that rings true since an really early memory of when i was like six. My mother saw me drawing (which I did a lot) and she and her friend said something like "Are you going to be an artist?" I had been asked so many times that I just kind of thought (ok I guess) and then said "yes."
Thanks for letting me write about this - it really helps.
your not alone here

I've made so many really bad decisions.
My 'history' of decision-making is what makes me have little confidence in the ones I make now.
And with good reason.
I screw up a lot.
