Hey everyone...
Are any of you on the med Saphris SL? My dr increased my dosage which I began taking last night. Well this morning I woke up a little dizzy and with terrible terrible chest pain. I don't think I slept in any wrong position, so could the pain be from the increased dose? I haven't had any problems with Saphris before. Now I'm worried.

I'm not trying to freak you out or anything but, I was taking Saphris 5mg for a couple of weeks and my pdoc increased it to 10 mg.That very night I woke up at 2:30am with my heart beating like it was going to jump out of my chest.It wouldn't stop and it scared the crap out of me since this never happened to me before.I ended up in the ER for half the day.Eventually my heartbeat slowed down but, my chest hurt for a few days after.I never took another Saphris after that.
I'm not saying this will happen to you but, I would definitely pay attention to how your body is reacting to this medicine.Hopefully you won't have the same experience I did.

Is the chest pain right sided, left sided, or in the middle. Do you have pain radiating to any other areas of your body? Are you short of breath? I'm sure that your anxiety level is up, but is it all over anxiety or is it located in one part of your body? These are questions that you will answer when you go to the hospital to have it checked out.
