One of the celebrities in the U.K. who has done so much to highlight the problems of bi polar mood disorder is Stephen Fry. Stephen suffers from what he calls "bi polar light", and has made various programmes to educate the general public regarding mental health issues. Viewers in the States may know Stephen from the BBC TV Comedy series "Blackadder", and he has recently completed a BBC progamme where he travelled through all of the 50 States of the USA in a London taxi cab (which he owns himself). He is very popular over here.

Its been rumored that since Heath Ledger's uncle has been recently diagnosed with bipolar that he more then likely had it. If so, then it would explain lots of things.
