Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I am on zoloft and Zyprexa and I am having non stop crying spells everyday now. Could this be because of the medication? Or is it because I am coming down from a psychotic break? I have visions of swallowing all my pills and ending it all. I just want peace. When I was psychotic I thought Jesus was talking to me. Now that he's not, I feel abandoned by God. I can't even make myself clean. All I do is watch TV and the only thing I can seem to make myself do is shower. I have an endless sense of worry and dread and I feel disabled. I am waiting on SSI but worried I am going to get denied. Why is life so much harder than it should be right now? I know I can't kill myself because I have people that love me, but it sure is tempting. I want to be with Jesus again but when I'm not psychotic, I am not even sure he exists. I'm having an existential crises.

Hugs. BP can make you feel that way. I know personally. Unsure how to help except to give you my hugs and support.

Thanks Mugwort. I'm not sure if it's BP or the meds. I am not sure if I need my meds adjusted. Trying a bunch of medications sounds scary.

Krystal, I'm sorry. I've been through existential crises too. I'm wondering if it's the meds that are giving you the crying spells...or maybe they they aren't working well enough? Can you give your pdoc a call? I sincerely hope you are able to start feeling better soon. I know how paralyzing depression can be, you just have to keep distracted, and keep breathing. That's your only job right now. (((big, big hugs)))

I'm sorry you feel this way right now. I try to remind myself it will pass. Sometimes it's really harder than others. I take cold showers for at least minutes every couple of hours when I'm in that state. It really does help me. Perhaps you could look it up on the internet. A really BIG hug going out to you. We are all here together feeling the same way at times. (((HUGS)))iu

I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
