Calm Manic Episode

This is kind of weird but I haven't slept in two days but I don't feel tired at all. But this is like my usual bursting with manic energy. I'm just calmly going about doing my work. It's wierd. Anybody ever have relaxed manic episode?

Most of mine are either relaxed with intense energy to get things done mixed with OCD to NOT get the things done that I start!

Other times it's mixed with anxiety....those are the worst!!

I've found that happens with me at the beginning stages of a mania but if you're like me it won't last long as you go through successive mania stages. Do you have a treatment for mania?

As having BP II, I get those "calm" sort of short term little fits of energy that aren't harmful but just clear moments when I can type a bit more or do a bit of house cleaning.

My manic episodes are usually calm . I'm usually ok unless I get really stressed

Considering my life is just one long manic episode yep most of it is on the calm side

I didn't go to bed last night, and I not only feel calm, I feel pretty damn mellow!!!!
This is the course that I usually follow, although by about 70 hours, I start to feel a bit wired and lose my extreme sense of well-being!!!

Hahahaha!!! Whenever get like this (usually a couple times a month), I always think of the scene in Pulp Fiction, where John Travolta is driving along, right after shooting up some of that mad dog heroin!!!!

The way that he looks is the way that I feel!! LOLOL!!!!!

I think this is hypomania, rather than mania. At least, for me.

Check out the number of nights you don't sleep.Then tell yr doc. Or read about Mania and Hypomania.

Yup. My doc said it was hypomania. I also felt INTENSELY happy! It was good while it lasted. He told me what caused and then said I SHOULD NEVER DO THAT. Pdocs are morons.
