I've been out of work since the 1st of August on medical leave. I feel it was a combination of stressors in life and stress at work escalating.
I have been a CNA for 15+ years this is the third time I have been out on medical leave in 6 years. I believe that it is time to move on, so a job less stressful and already have three applications. I was told to only work part time and perferrably not in nursing. Due to the lack of money I was making I went back to nursing.Hind sight being 20/20 my sanity is worth more than any paycheck. So I'm willing to take a cut in pay.
The thing is, is that i'm still on medical leave from the nursing home and don't know when to give my resignation. They already have informed me after next week without a letter from my psychiatrist that they expect me to return to work. All I wanna do is give my resignation and move on> while I was actively working there at the nursing home I was stressed.
I guess what advice I'm looking for is when would be the best time to resign.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

I had to take a couple of leaves during my working years
I would make an appt and talk with your doctor about this.. If you need a letter for the time being he/she can give you that
If you don't feel that it's something you can or want to do then I'd move on... We spend a lot of time at work and constant pressure is hard to bear
