I know I already posted about my problem with feeling bugs on me. I can't remember what was said in that post to be honest.

It's getting worse though. I take paxil, abilify, trileptal and xanax. I found an old Rx of seroquel from the last time I had a problem like this and I'm taking a small dose of it 2x per day. 100mg.

I've tried showering extra, wearing my hair up, telling people around me that I feel this way...all but calling my pdoc...I'll call her today. But she isn't in everyday and she doesn't check her voicemail everyday either.

So what can I do in the mean time? I still feel the bugs with the seroquel, just takes the edge off, and I don't want to take more seroquel without talking to my pdoc.

Any suggestions?

Do you feel it the most in one particular place on your body?

When my skin crawls sometimes it helps to wrap that part in an elastic bandage- pretty snugly. The nerves are already getting plenty of stimulation from the compression of the bandage, that it helps my brain skip over that part of my body when it comes to tactile halucinations.

Definitely get a hold of your pdoc today.

I feel it everywhere...but more so on my face and in my hair. I've got some scratches and scabs on my scalp now it's getting so bad.

Thanks for the advice gemi...I don't think I'll be wrapping my head in a bandage though. lol. Thanks.

Try ice to draw attention away from the areas that are feeling that way. xo

oops, put the ice on the inside of elbows and upper nape of neck and see if that helps......it has helped me before. Hope your doc calls soon, if not, call again sweetie. It could be a reaction from your meds too or a combination. Did you start one recently?

Thanks guys. I haven't started anything new. Just a little psychosis maybe due to all the stress I'm going through right now.

No, obviously I wouldn't recommend putting an ace bandage on your head. A hat, however, might work nicely.

I called my pdoc...she's not in on Mondays, and she doesn't check her voicemail daily, so she might not even get my message until tomorrow. Hopefully she doesn't take all day to call me back.

I would wear a hat, but it's seriously hot in here...trying to pack and clean.

Hanna.. when I was on Paxil I had those feelings... and when ever I had a bad reaction to a med my pdoc always tells me to take 50mg of benadryl, and he usually stops my med.. dont stop paxil tho, that one is a hell to get off of.. Have you been on all of those meds for along time, are any of them new?

I'm in the process of weaning off paxil, with pdoc overseeing it. I took it for years though with only 1 other time that this happened.

Otherwise, there are no new meds or anything.

thats what it is.. paxil withdrawls... I went freaking nuts going off of that stuff.. felt like electrical explosions in my head.. tingling all over my body.. it was hell.. hugs for you..
