Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I was dx'd with fibro in 2003 before the dx I had been with the same woman for 3 years and during the time with her had been to more than 10 doctors the dx came about 8 months after I had finally left her. Since then have been in 3 serious relationships. Honesly fibro is a hard one for people to wrap their heads around cuz there are no outward symptoms - its not like your limbs are hanging at an odd angle you dont ooze blood ect people cant see the disease.
My best advice is dont worry about a relationship not now just focus on you and some day perhaps someone will come along that can handle the disease but if not its not the end of the world trust me on that one
If you just found out about all of this BP stuff, it takes a while for it to sink in, learn all about it, be compliant with meds, try your best to be self sufficient, it is a lot to take in.....
some people just can handle when we are in a bad place.... some people love to fix us, I would rather see you help yourself so you don't have to rely on someone.... yes???? No????
I'm trying to be strong. I know no one can fix me, but I'm always so alone. Not many friends, and relationships are hard for me. Either I like someone a lot- love even- but I've only found people to go on a few dates with before I got bored with them. I didn't get bored with her. I know that's awful, but I have standards for myself and for the ones I am with.
So sad, too bad for me. lol.... Sorry for the emotional post. I am trying to become numb again. Just shoving it all back down.
maybe deal with your emotions and cry... it can be so cleansing, let it out, it can't hurt....
You will find her, its not like your fugly!!! Hang in there.
(((hugs)))
I'm sorry your relationship has come to an end. How incredibly sad and painful.
And while there's never a 'good' time for a breakup to happen, this is kind of bit more of a kick, considering everything else you've got going on.
I'm sorry for it all.
I hope that things start looking up soon and that everything goes as well as possible.
I'm so sorry that you are hurting.
