I have a partner of 9 years. It ain't been no picnik for him.

i think it's just like any other married people with an illness, you have a family before or during the diagnosis, and if u started off well, the family dynamics shouldn't change too much.
it sounds like many had children be4 they were diagnosed BP. my mania didn't start until my kids were 2 and 4 .. sometimes life stresses can bring on a manic episode.

I haven't had an SO or anyone special in my life since I divorced the second time 10 years ago. It was my decision to go it alone and I think that's right for me. I have 3 sons so I don't feel that life was a waste. It's just more peaceful now!

I have been married to the same guy for 17 years. We have two boys together ages 9 and 12 and I have two adult daughters from a previous marriage who my husband loves if they were his own. I'm VERY lucky as he has stayed by my side through two rounds of ECT where he had to help me relearn how to drive to all the places I used to, school, Dr's office, grocery store as I had forgotten all the directions.

I have been married to my husband for 8 years and have 2 beautiful daughters. I dont know how he has delt with my BP and sexual addictions this long, I dont know how I have... but I guess if you aim at nothing, you will hit it!

married 6 years, 3 kids. mania kicked off after my 2nd child was born, Which led to my 3rd child!!
I wouldn't ever be without them, but wonder if i would have thought differently if i knew what i do now then.
